Snowdrops
This morning when I walked the dog, I walked past this lawn at the lake where there was snowdrop-flowers everywhere. I picked up a handful and put them in a glass for Lea. When she came home she got very glad and said that it looked really good the way that I arranged them(?) I hadn?t really thought about it, but thought that I would try my new Off camera flash shoe and STO-fen diffuser to make some photos and learn more about using my speedlite ;-)
I got really surprised about the result.
This is almost straight out of the camera. So even though its a flower shot, I think it looks cool ;oD
U.S. Soldiers learn ikebana through traditional Japanese arts
Command Sgt. Maj. Mary Brown, Headquarters, Headquarters Battalion, U.S. Army Pacific, puts together a floral arrangement during a class on the art of ikebana, Japanese flower arranging. Brown and her Japanese counterpart attended the Jan. 21 class on Camp Kengun, Japan.
